About the Role

Paysend is seeking a highly skilled Transaction Monitoring Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial systems and protecting our customers from financial crime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze Enterprise/B2B transaction monitoring alerts to identify potential financial crime risks.
  • Develop and implement effective transaction monitoring rules and controls to mitigate financial crime risks.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance and Risk teams to address and resolve financial crime issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure Paysend's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of our Enterprise control environment to ensure the highest standards of financial integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML compliance, fraud investigation, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience in B2B/Enterprise transaction monitoring.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel) to analyze transaction data.
  • Experience building transaction monitoring rules and controls.
  • Experience assessing the efficacy of existing transaction monitoring controls and rules for B2B/Enterprise.
  • Analytical mindset capable of interpreting complex data and identifying patterns.
  • Proficiency in using transaction monitoring and case management systems.
  • Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) certification.
