We are seeking a highly skilled Farm Equipment Technician to join our team at Arnold Clark. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing agricultural equipment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern machinery and develop your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. You will be working on a variety of tasks, including routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting issues with farm equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair agricultural equipment, including tractors, plows, and harvesters.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults with equipment, using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £40,000-£50,000 per annum, dependent on experience and training.
  • The opportunity to earn up to £9,000 every three years in performance bonuses (terms and conditions apply).
  • All overtime paid at time and a half.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days annual leave (with room to grow) and flexible hours.
Requirements
  • Experience working with agricultural equipment, preferably in a workshop or field setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of machinery and mechanics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to customers and colleagues.
