About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Buildout Recruitment. As a Principal-Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading our sustainability efforts and advising clients on environmentally friendly practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sustainability and Energy Statements: Develop and implement sustainability and energy statements for our clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Environmental Assessments: Conduct thorough environmental assessments, including reviews of low carbon technologies and energy centers/networks, to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Renewable Energy and Calculations: Advise clients on renewable energy options and perform calculations to support their sustainability goals.
  • Future Homes Standards: Ensure compliance with Future Homes Standards, including embodied and whole-life carbon assessments.
  • Sustainability Support: Provide comprehensive sustainability support to clients across all aspects of their projects, from planning to buildout.
  • Net Zero Schemes: Assist clients in developing net zero schemes and provide guidance on achieving carbon neutrality.
  • Sustainability Function Development: Enhance our sustainability function by identifying areas for improvement and implementing new processes and procedures.
  • Zero Carbon Business: Conduct scope 1-3 emission assessments and advise on strategies to achieve zero carbon status as a business.
