Pembroke College is committed to widening access to higher education and is seeking a dedicated individual to join its Access and Outreach team as an intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, and communication.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Access Fellow and the Access and Outreach Manager to deliver impactful programmes aimed at supporting talented students from underrepresented backgrounds. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Access and Outreach team.
  • Managing travel arrangements for the team and participants.
  • Coordinating event logistics, including residential programmes and online events.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serving as a primary point of contact for enquiries via the Access and Outreach inbox.
  • Drafting and publishing news, updates, and results through various channels.
  • Liaising with the College Communications team to promote Access and Outreach activities internally and externally.

Resource Development and Reporting

  • Creating informational resources, such as posters and guides, for Access and Outreach activities.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of programme effectiveness and support the preparation of the Access and Outreach Annual Report.

Team Collaboration

  • Supporting the Access Fellow and the Access and Outreach Manager with ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Attending regional and national events to represent Pembroke College.

Estimated Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
