Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and control all operational aspects of our projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, quality control, and programme management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate construction activities to maximize project profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality control standards, and programme requirements.
  • Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage site facilities, including welfare, toilets, offices, and compound areas.
  • Implement and maintain site rules, housekeeping, and discipline.
  • Coordinate sub-contractors and ensure timely completion of site-based documentation.
  • Attend project and company-related meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction, with a minimum of 5 years as a Site Manager/Team leader in projects over £1 million.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification, CSCS, and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent organizational and team management skills, with experience in delivering demanding build programmes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Sound working knowledge of health and safety requirements and practice.
