We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nursery Development Specialist to join our team in Wickford, London Road. As a Nursery Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and care of children aged 2-4 years, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be expected to work shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday, contributing to the smooth running of the nursery and ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs for children, aligning with their individual needs and developmental stage.
  • Collaborate with the nursery manager to ensure compliance with the EYFS framework and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and quality across the setting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates and feedback on their child's progress.
  • Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.

Requirements and Skills:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working in Early Years settings, with a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Prior knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulatory requirements is desirable.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is estimated to be around £24,835.20 per annum, plus annual leave starting at 24 days, paid birthday day off, and bank holidays.
