Undergraduate Industrial Placement in Public Relations

Job Overview
We are seeking an Undergraduate Industrial Placement student to join our Public Relations team in Slough. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadow and support the EMEA PR team on day-to-day operations, including corporate, trade, consumer PR, and internal communications.
- Work closely with European PR agencies to set up meetings, insight sessions, and coordinate materials.
- Assist in preparing coverage reports and evaluations, learning about European media.
- Help manage and post to the LinkedIn corporate account for Mattel EMEA.
- Assist in internal communication for Mattel Europe.
- Prepare PR presentations and round-ups for European PR and brand team meetings.
- Point person on PR shoots or events.

Requirements
- Currently studying an undergraduate degree with a placement year.
- Outstanding writing skills.
- Ability to summarize research information.
- Digitally savvy.
- Knowledge and genuine interest in the media/entertainment sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Ability to be proactive.
- Self-starter and ability to work independently.
- Previous work experience in an office environment is desirable but not essential.
- Willing to relocate within a commutable distance of the Slough office.
