About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Barber/Hairdressing lecturer to join our Hair & Beauty team at the Lewes campus.

The successful candidate will have a good range of experience and qualifications within the hairdressing industry and will be required to deliver practical and theory lessons and monitor students' progress as part of the tutoring role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students
  • Monitor and assess student progress
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials
  • Contribute to the development of the Hair & Beauty team

Requirements

  • Level 3 and above hairdressing/barbering qualification
  • Teaching qualification (desirable)
  • Assessors award (desirable)
  • Excellent knowledge of the hairdressing industry and working within industry
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and well-organised
  • Commitment to further professional development
