Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Ely Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, supporting our nursery team in delivering high-quality care and education to children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the nursery team in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the safety and well-being of children, maintaining a positive and happy environment.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills and knowledge, promoting their learning and development.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and policies.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
