Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is a leading provider of adult social care services in Berkshire. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and support to our service users, and we are now seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Social Worker to join our team.

As a Part-Time Social Worker, you will work closely with service users to provide expert advice and support, connecting them to community resources when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a social work qualification or equivalent and be able to work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other professionals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Social Work England requirements.
  • Provide people with good quality advice and information relating to care and support.
  • Work with people to connect them to community resources when relevant.
  • Work with people to meet long-term care and support needs when necessary.
  • Review care and support arrangements when necessary.
  • Arrange Direct Payments where appropriate.
  • Ensure service users are safeguarded by acting in line with the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
  • Assist service users and carers to construct a Support Plan meeting their needs, outcomes, and identified risks.
  • Recognise health and safety is a responsibility of every employee and take reasonable care of self and others.
  • Ensure own practice meets the required standard by knowing and implementing relevant policies, procedures, and guidance.
  • Actively participate in supervision and appraisal, and relevant training.
  • Identify and recommend services or expenditure to meet people's care and support needs.

Requirements:

  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
