Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Supermarket Assistant to join our team as a Team Leader. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our supermarket.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Supervise and support the store team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Manage stock levels, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall store performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of food and drink trends, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
