About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team as a Design Technology and Engineering Tutor. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, focusing on vocational engineering and manufacturing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of engineering and manufacturing topics, including engineering materials and processes, engineering design, and project-based learning.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives that meet industry standards and requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in engineering and manufacturing education.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HND in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry standard qualifications and experience.
  • Recognized teaching qualification and assessor/IQA awards or willingness to work towards these with funding support.
  • Recent experience within a manufacturing or engineering industry, preferably in a teaching or training role.
