About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team as a Design Technology and Engineering Tutor. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, focusing on vocational engineering and manufacturing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of engineering and manufacturing topics, including engineering materials and processes, engineering design, and project-based learning.
  • Support students in developing skills to create successful prototypes and solutions.
  • Deliver lectures, workshops, and tutorials to students across various levels, including BTEC Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and T Level Engineering Manufacturing Design and Development.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet their learning objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of HND in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent industry standard qualifications and experience.
  • Recognised teaching qualification and assessor/IQA awards, or willingness to work towards these with funding support from the College.
  • Recent experience within a manufacturing/engineering industry, preferably in a teaching or training role.
