Solicitor Position

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Solicitor to join our Private Client department at Wilkins Solicitors LLP, a well-established law firm in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified lawyer or paralegal to develop their expertise in Private Client law, working on a diverse range of cases involving wills, probate, estate planning, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, and deputyships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate matters.
  • Manage a portfolio of private client cases, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to provide informed advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • PQE: NQ - 2 years (or equivalent experience as a Paralegal or Legal Executive).
  • Strong Private Client law knowledge, including estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate matters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Critical thinker with excellent attention to detail, able to manage complex cases effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
