Job Title: Service Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Service Designer to join our User Centred Design Team within the Digital Delivery Hub. As a Service Designer at the Financial Conduct Authority, you will work with emerging multi-disciplinary digital product teams to deliver expert service design delivery for new and existing products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help teams see their service through a people lens with a design state of mind, mapping and discovering opportunities to improve the life of users.
  • Design service improvements through the use of data, design thinking, and agile ways of working to solve problems, test ideas quickly, iterate what you do, and embed a learning culture.
  • Develop journey maps, service blueprints, and other artefacts that best communicate systems, opportunity, and vision to varying audiences.
  • Support the development and growth of our design community of practice.
