Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large Primary School in the Borough of Ealing.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work with Primary School children with a range of SEN needs, including Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural difficulties. This is a full-time, long-term role with an ASAP or September 2024 start.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with SEN in a 3-class Early Years setting
  • Work effectively as part of a team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to meet the needs of SEN pupils
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
Person Specification:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A good degree from a reputable University
  • A good understanding of SEN and its impact on children
  • Experience working with children with SEN, either in a previous role or through personal experience
  • A calm and compassionate nature, with excellent communication skills
