Job Title: Residential Home Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Home Manager to join our team at a brand-new children's residential home in Orpington. The home provides specialist care and support to children and young people aged 8-17 with EBD and mild Learning Disabilities.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that meets the unique needs of our residents.
  • They will lead, mentor, and support staff, promoting a positive team culture that values collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards is crucial, as is developing and implementing care plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • A strong focus on budget management and resource allocation is also essential.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
  • At least 2 years of management experience in a children's residential setting, with a proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
  • A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations and Children's Home Regulations 2015 is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
