Position: Senior Integration Specialist

Location: London | Cambridge

Employment type: Full-time regular

About the Role:

  • Lead the design and implementation of MuleSoft-based integration solutions, leveraging your expertise in integration technologies and defining best practices for seamless execution.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into system requirements, driving effective communication and alignment across teams.
  • Develop and maintain standards and best practices for MuleSoft integration and API development, ensuring consistency and high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentor junior developers on the team, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster growth and skill development within the organization.
  • Oversee the development lifecycle for integration projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and technical excellence throughout.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful integration projects, driving results-oriented collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Provide expert-level guidance in Advanced Integration and API Management using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop interfaces and integration flows, applying your analytical skills to drive efficient and effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, System Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT solution development, with a strong background in multiple technologies, platforms, and processing environments.
  • Excellent understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, as well as practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business models.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing MuleSoft Anypoint Platform solutions, with a strong focus on API-led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Certified MuleSoft Architect with a strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services, proficient in Java and related technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to deliver results on time and on budget, and excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members.
  • Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network, and security.
  • Proven analytical, planning, organizational, and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively with developers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
