About the Role

Clean Break is seeking a visionary leader to join our team as Executive Director and Joint CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organisation in achieving its mission of promoting gender equality and social justice
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and innovation in the cultural sector
  • Collaborate with the Board, staff, and artists to achieve greater equity and inclusion
  • Remodel hierarchical structures to enable women with lived experience, staff, and artists to have voice and agency in shaping the organisation's strategic plans

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior leader in the cultural/arts sector
  • Track record of producing work and understanding of the current challenges facing the cultural sector
  • Ability to step up into organisational leadership through proven experience of leading senior teams and major projects, and of largescale financial leadership
  • Emotional intelligence and confidence to take on leadership at Clean Break
