Kitchen Assistant Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene and safety in our kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, particularly HACCP regulations
* Verify the quality of food deliveries to ensure only the highest standard of produce is accepted
* Maintain accurate food storage and follow the F.I.F.O stock rotation system
* Perform cleaning duties associated with service and equipment
* Prepare the service area and assist in other unit kitchens during quieter periods
* Maintain personal hygiene and appearance to company regulations
* Comply with and assist in the promotion of our health and safety policy
* Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures

**Requirements:**

* Level 2 Food Safety certification

**Working Hours:**

* Monday to Friday
* 07:00am to 15:00pm
* £12 per hour

**Contract Type:**

* Temporary to permanent
