About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Ramboll. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality power systems solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform power system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, harmonic analysis, dynamic and transient stability, and protection studies.
  • Develop and maintain power system models using industry-standard tools such as DigSilent and ETAP.
  • Analyse and interpret simulation and test data to inform design and operational decisions.
  • Deliver high-quality reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to power system planning and design.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical engineering codes and practices and apply this knowledge to assist our clients.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Power Systems Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and power systems. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions to clients and a strong understanding of industry-standard tools and techniques.

  • Electrical engineering degree (minimum BSc/BEng; MSc/MEng or PhD in power systems will be advantageous).
  • Proficiency in DigSilent, ETAP and other power simulation software packages.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to generate business through existing and new workstreams.
  • High level of IT literacy and numeracy skills.
