About the Role

Arup is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Lead to join our Building Engineering group in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and project management expertise to deliver complex electrical engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the electrical engineering team
  • Manage project finances and staffing resources to ensure successful delivery
  • Represent the design and/or discipline team in discussions with clients and contractors
  • Ensure appropriate design checks and quality assurance procedures are undertaken
  • Share knowledge, provide guidance, training, and feedback to junior team members

Requirements

  • Chartered Electrical Engineer or working towards chartership
  • Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Experience in Whole Building Services Design Life Cycle from Concept to Detailed Design
  • Ability to manage finances and staffing resources
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
