Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster Carer Recruitment and Support: Recruit, assess, and monitor foster carers to ensure they provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, adhering to strict guidelines and regulations.
  • Placement Planning: Attend Placement Planning Meetings to discuss the needs of children entering care, working closely with social workers and other professionals to develop tailored plans.
  • Supervision and Training: Provide regular supervision to foster carers, ensuring they meet training standards and competencies, and promoting continuous learning and development.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, with a Diploma in social work or equivalent.
  • Experience: Must have a Social Work qualification and relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of child care laws and regulations.
