About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineering Lead to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our building services team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering electrical engineering consultancy services for a portfolio of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design engineering, with experience in project lead and delivery of electrical services across multiple projects. They will also have excellent communication and people skills, particularly the ability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and delivering electrical engineering consultancy services for a portfolio of projects
  • Managing and mentoring junior to intermediate engineers
  • Producing and reviewing detailed design calculations, specifications, and plant schedules
  • Conducting site surveys and inspections
  • Mentoring and guidance of junior to intermediate engineers

Requirements

  • Accredited Building Services/Electrical Engineering degree or higher educational qualification
  • Chartered engineer or working towards membership
  • Experience in project lead and delivery of electrical services across multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and people skills

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
