Electrical Services Engineer

Job Overview
We are currently looking for a skilled Electrical Services Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our building services. This includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to site engineering emergencies, and maintaining comprehensive maintenance records.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance to all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed expectations.
- Respond to Building Management System alarms and effect emergency repairs as needed.
- Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
- Maintain Critical cooling water systems and any domestic systems to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
- Ensure suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the critical and non-critical plant.
- Keep comprehensive maintenance records in the form of task sheets, hard copy or electronically as required.
- Develop and enhance SOPs and EOPs to ensure safe working practices.
- Supervise engineering subcontractors and ensure they comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes.
- Present a professional image of Integral UK to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service.
- Provide shift cover for opposite shift members during periods of absence.
- Attend and support annual building shutdowns when required.
- Perform all other duties reasonably associated with this role.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Critical Environments such as Banking HQ and Data Centres.
- Lv Authorised Person (A bonus)
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar
- C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds.
- 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18 th Edition through additional training if you have 17 th Edition)
- C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing and certification.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff.
- Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
- Good IT and report writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm, clear thinking and deliver required services within given time constraints.

Salary: Estimated salary is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum based on location and experience.
