About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological support to children and young people, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions and promote positive mental health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for school staff and other professionals
  • Participate in service evaluation and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good honours degree in Psychology and eligibility for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
