Composite Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our Composites team at The Logistics Partnership LLP.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading boatbuilding company, renowned for its innovative approach to designing and building high-quality boats, motor launches, and tenders.
Main Responsibilities
As the Production Manager - Composites, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of composite production specialists to achieve production targets.
- Develop and implement effective production plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor and control production costs, ensuring adherence to budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of production, including quality control and inventory management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the composites industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in production planning and control software.
