Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional needs of our students. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and providing supervision and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver learning materials and activities to support student learning and development
  • Provide individualized support and supervision to students with Autism and additional needs
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture by promoting social skills, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting students with Autism and additional needs
Requirements
  • Minimum GCSE Grade C in English and Maths
  • Experience working with students with Autism and additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
