We are seeking an experienced Clinical Health Psychologist to join our team as a Band 8C Intensive Care Psychologist. This is a leadership role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of psychologists in the ICU and provide clinical leadership
- Work clinically in the Royal Free Hospital ICU and provide psychological assessment and treatment to patients
- Develop and implement service development initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
- Represent psychology in multi-professional settings and contribute to policy development
- Provide teaching, training, and supervision to junior colleagues
- Registered with HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Post-doctoral training in an additional specialised area of psychological practice
- Senior management/leadership training
- Extensive experience of working as a qualified practitioner psychologist in a relevant setting
- Experience of working with a wide variety of patient groups across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity
