We are seeking a skilled clinical or counselling psychologist to join our multidisciplinary pain team in Haringey. The successful candidate will provide holistic care to treat persistent pain in a community setting, working closely with a team of Pain Consultants, Pain Psychologists, Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, and Pain Management Physiotherapists.
The post holder will have the opportunity to develop a ground-breaking patient co-production model for this service, with the aim of future publications in this field. Whittington Health serves a richly diverse population and works hard to ensure that all our services are fair and equally accessible to everyone.
We are committed to employing a workforce that is as representative as possible of this population, and we welcome applications from candidates with a range of backgrounds and experiences. The successful candidate will be supervised by the lead clinical psychologist and will have access to Whittington Health CPD for mental health professionals.
We are developing a patient-centred approach to pain management, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to this effort. The post holder will be responsible for providing evidence-based pain psychology assessments and interventions for persistent pain patients.
We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and skilled in pain management, with a keen interest in developing a patient co-production model. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate complex information to patients and colleagues.
