Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outreach team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality youth work programs, building strong relationships with young people, and driving positive outcomes in the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging youth work programs, including activities, workshops, and one-to-one support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and local communities
- Work closely with the Youth Work Manager - Outreach to develop and implement effective outreach strategies
- Drive positive outcomes for young people, including improved educational attainment, employment, and life skills
- Contribute to the development and implementation of XLP's strategic plan and goals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of working with young people in a youth work or related setting
- Strong knowledge of youth work principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driving license and ability to drive XLP's buses
