Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Residential Care Worker to join our team. This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Residential Care Worker, your duties will include:

  • Providing advice, assistance, and support to young people, ensuring their safety and welfare at all times.
  • Attending to their practical, physical, and emotional needs with a therapeutic approach.
  • Acting as an appropriate role model and working closely with them to address their difficulties and achieve their potential.

You will report directly to the Homes Manager and work collaboratively with other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Level 3 qualification or above in Residential Childcare (desired)
  • Secondary Education with good literacy and numeracy skills
  • A current manual driving license, due to the nature of the job role
  • Satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS disclosure
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including training and development opportunities.
