Manufacturing Operative Job Opportunity

Meridian Business Support is partnering with a leading Oil and Gas Company in Grimsby to recruit additional members for their successful team. The ideal candidate will work in a busy hose shop, supporting technicians and hose builders, and will have either mechanical bias or practical machine operator experience in a manufacturing or building environment.

Full training will be provided, and pay rates will increase as you progress, depending on skill set, role, and experience. The company offers an excellent package, including full workwear and PPE, discounted gym membership, low-cost canteen facilities, free on-site car park, and training to develop your career.

You will work a 2 Days 2 Nights Continental rotating shift pattern, based on 12 hours shifts, making 48 hours per week, with potential overtime. A Counter Balance FLT Licence would be advantageous, but not essential, and candidates with experience operating cranes could also be considered.

Pay Rates:

  • Starting Grade: £11.44 p/h plus £3.60 p/h shift allowance.

There is a grade increase after 12 weeks.
