About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Generic Health Visiting Team in Pembrokeshire. As a Clinical Development Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the progression of registered nurses onto the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Degree.
As part of our team, you will work closely with the Health Visiting Team to deliver the Healthy Child Wales Programme from 0-5 years old. Your primary area of responsibility will be covering Pembrokeshire, where you will support the development and implementation of health promotion strategies and programs for families and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the Healthy Child Wales Programme in Pembrokeshire
- Work collaboratively with the Health Visiting Team to develop and implement health promotion strategies and programs
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to staff members within the team
- Contribute to the assessment of health needs and development of programs of care to meet the needs of children and their families
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a First-Level Registered Nurse qualification and evidence of ongoing education and professional development. Experience in pediatric nursing and supervision of staff is desirable. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
