Daycare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Daycare Assistant at Ozanam Daycare Limited.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide support to our daycare staff, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of the children in our care. This role involves working positively within our team structure, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and adhering to our policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting Daycare Staff: Provide stimulation to children, assist with toy and equipment maintenance, and prepare snacks.
- Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensure the physical and emotional welfare of children, adhere to health and safety protocols, and maintain confidentiality.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Work collaboratively with our team, be flexible with regards to location, and take on additional duties as needed.
- Observation and Assessment: Participate in observing and assessing children, recording and making recommendations as required.
- Activity and Routine Planning: Contribute to planning activities and routines within your work area.
- Qualifications: Hold a current First Aid certificate, Child Protection, Manual Handling, Health & Safety, and Basic Food Hygiene certification, or be willing to train for same.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work positively within a team, and flexibility with regards to location.
