VC Evidensia UK is a leading veterinary care provider seeking an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant to join its Ophthalmology department. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to develop skills in a specialized veterinary field while supporting a team of five veterinary surgeons and one veterinary nurse.

The ideal candidate will have animal care/handling experience, animal care qualifications, strong team player skills, and effective communication skills. Key responsibilities include assisting with examinations, preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a clean and sterile environment, and helping manage post-operative care.

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as additional annual leave for birthdays, enhanced family-friendly policies, cycle to work scheme, and learning and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with examinations
