Quality Technician Job Description

Adecco is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team in a permanent, full-time capacity. As a Quality Technician, you will have the opportunity to work within a factory environment, supporting the Quality Manager to develop and maintain Product Safety and Quality systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement and Maintain Quality Assurance Standards: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance standards on-site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Challenging Packaging Safety Systems: Review and update packaging safety systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as required.
  • Document Control and Quality Management: Manage document control and maintain the Product Safety and Quality Management System, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Internal Audit Programmes: Collaborate with the Quality Manager to implement internal audit programmes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as required.
  • Quality Control Inspections: Conduct daily quality control inspections on production lines, identifying and addressing any quality issues.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives: Drive quality improvement initiatives in manufacturing and business processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as required.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Report any issues in a timely manner and ensure proper collation and filing of documentation.
  • Liaising with Suppliers: Liaise with suppliers regarding non-conforming products, resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Supporting the Quality Manager: Support the Quality Manager with any additional requests, providing assistance and guidance as required.

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
