Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our Infrastructure Operations Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the operation of our IT services hosted both on premises and in our Microsoft Azure public cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain a good understanding of all technologies that we implement and support.
  2. Ensure the operational health of all the network infrastructure including security, availability, performance, interoperability and reliability.
  3. Plan, support and manage technical support and upgrade activity of all network infrastructure.
  4. Support all services out of hours as part of the on-call rota.

About Us

We work closely with several teams across the IT Function covering a wide range of technologies as well as supporting the overall business with their IT projects and BAU work.

Requirements

We are seeking a dynamic individual with previous Networking experience at a Senior level for both on premises and in a Microsoft Azure public cloud environment. Experience of supporting Firewalls, Routers, Switching, Quality of Service and Load Balancing is needed for the role. The team also supports the Society's Telephony solution, so knowledge of VOIP would be useful.
