About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Medical Support Professional to join our team on a part-time basis. As a valuable member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the replenishment of medical supplies and equipment to prevent stockouts and minimize downtime.
  • Provide physical assistance to patients, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to prepare patients for therapy sessions and medical procedures.
  • Collect and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels.
  • Track patients' pulse rate and weight to identify potential health concerns.
  • Prepare patients' meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as restocking linens and cleaning the facility.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • NVQ qualification in health and social care or equivalent experience.
  • Able to pass a medical screening and maintain confidentiality.
  • Clear background check and reliable attendance record.
  • Previous experience in a caring role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and colleagues.
  • Physically able to lift patients safely and efficiently.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Compensation Package: £11-£12 per hour (inclusive of enhanced pay for Bank Holidays) | Contract Type: Part-time | Location: £11-£12 Per hour Enhanced pay for Bank Holidays
