Job Summary:
The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient discharge process of patients no longer requiring acute care. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of patient flow and bed allocation within the ward.
  • Liaise with medical teams to coordinate patient transfers and ensure timely discharges.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to optimize resource utilization and reduce waiting times.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience.
  • Previous customer service and administration experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
