Job Summary:

Ladgov seeks a skilled Music Ministry Director to lead our Protestant worship services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing all worship music, selecting music for performances, and ensuring the smooth execution of music-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Music Direction: Direct all worship music at Protestant worship services, working closely with the Chaplain to ensure a cohesive and meaningful experience.
  2. Music Selection: Select music for performances in coordination with the Chaplain, considering the needs and preferences of the congregation.
  3. Logistical Support: Request logistical support using established AF and chapel policies and procedures, ensuring that all necessary resources are available.
  4. Choir Management: Recruit, train, and lead a choir of talented musicians, providing opportunities for growth and development.
  5. Instrument Maintenance: Monitor chapel musical instruments and advise the Chaplain on any needed repairs, maintenance, or replacements.
  6. Event Planning: Coordinate music activities with the Senior Faith Group Chaplain, ensuring that all events are well-planned and executed.
  7. Community Outreach: Provide choir support for military and civilian community events, promoting the values of Ladgov and fostering relationships with the community.
Qualifications:
  1. An undergraduate degree in music with a focus on vocal/keyboard/piano/guitar proficiency in Protestant music, or a minimum of five years' experience leading a praise and worship team.
  2. High competence in vocal keyboard/piano/guitar techniques, music selection, and ability to accompany other musicians and congregational singing.
