Senior Engineer (Civil/Structural) Opportunity

Are you a seasoned Civil/Structural Engineer looking to make a lasting impact on the future of our built environment? We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team in Derby, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of prestigious UK infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop feasibility and options reports for various civil engineering projects
  • Design and deliver civil engineering structures, including below ground structures and foundations
  • Prepare work for CAD Technicians and supervise Graduate Engineers
  • Conduct site surveys and appraisals of rail, water, and utilities infrastructure schemes
  • Liaise with clients and attend meetings to ensure project success
  • Manage projects, including cost and commercial aspects
  • Assist in the production of pre-qualification documents, tenders, and fee proposals
Your Skills:
  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or similar
  • Chartered status in ICE or IStructE or equivalent institution
  • Experience in below ground structures and foundation skills
  • Technical expertise in structural engineering and commitment to technical excellence
  • Knowledge of UK design standards, Eurocodes, and CDM regulations
  • Inter-personal skills and aptitude to work collaboratively in a diverse team
