Senior Engineer (Civil/Structural)

At COWI, we're committed to creating sustainable solutions for a better tomorrow. As a Senior Engineer (Civil/Structural), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of prestigious UK infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop feasibility and options reports for infrastructure projects
  • Design and complete civil engineering structures, including below ground structures and foundations
  • Prepare work for CAD technicians and conduct site surveys and appraisals
  • Check drawings and supervise graduate engineers
  • Liaise with clients and attend meetings on-site, progress meetings, and design review meetings
  • Manage projects, including cost and commercial aspects
  • Assist in producing pre-qualification documents, tenders, and fee proposals
Your Skills:
  • A master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a similar field
  • Chartered status in the ICE or IStructE or an equivalent institution
  • Experience in below ground structures and foundation skills
  • Technical expertise in structural engineering and a commitment to technical excellence
  • Knowledge of UK design standards, Eurocodes, and CDM regulations
  • Inter-personal skills and aptitude to work collaboratively in a diverse team
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • A full UK driving licence
