Assembly Technician

Your precision, attention to detail, and technical expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest standard of quality and performance.
The primary purpose of this role is to manufacture products and components to meet agreed quality, time-scale, and cost objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing personal workload to ensure all milestones are achieved
- Supporting the implementation of best practice processes, techniques, and continuous improvement methods
- Operating within the Quality policy and procedures as defined in the quality system
- Maintaining a flexible attitude and approach to changing requirements and priorities
- Monitoring and reporting on existing processes, indicating the need for corrective action as required
- Supporting the Cell Leader in improving the performance and development of the team
- Establishing and maintaining close and effective working relationships with other members of the team
- Ensuring personal and team compliance with Health and Safety policy and procedures
Requirements include:
- A recognised relevant engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship, NVQ, etc.
- Experience in a similar role in a similar environment
- Good practical knowledge of skills such as mechanical assembly, electrical and electronic assembly, wiring looms, electrical soldering, surface mount soldering, and bench assemblies
- H&S Compliance
