Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages to young people not attending school, focusing on creating tailored lessons to bridge educational gaps and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and plan engaging and effective lessons to meet the needs of each pupil.
  • Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
  • Work with pupils who may have low confidence levels due to being out of education for an extended period.

Contract Details:

• Location: Maldon
• Position: Outreach Tutor
• Type of work: Contract
• Duration: Dependent on each student
• Contract type: Temporary
• Pay rate: £25 per hour

Eligibility Criteria:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
