Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant will provide critical support to the Finance Manager and Chief Accountant in all aspects of company finance, with a focus on statutory accounting, compliance activities, accurate tax treatment, internal audit, and company insurance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Manager and Chief Accountant in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including statutory accounts and management accounts.
- Manage compliance activities, including tax returns and other regulatory submissions.
- Develop and implement effective internal audit processes to ensure financial controls and risk management.
- Coordinate company insurance activities, including policy management and claims handling.
Requirements:
- Strong accounting and financial management skills, with a focus on statutory accounting and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Proficient in financial software and systems, including accounting packages and spreadsheets.
