Head of Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our quality assurance and compliance efforts. As Head of Quality, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance framework that ensures the highest standards of training excellence, programme effectiveness, and customer service standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a quality assurance framework that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive continued professional development programmes to improve the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Coordinate the Education and Training programmes, including the monitoring of all internal apprentices.
- Report to Exec monthly on the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Monitor practice externally from a range of sources, such as Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, ESFA Apprenticeship Accountability Framework, AELP, ERSA, IEP, QAR data to inform internal practice.
- Support senior managers to develop the business and achieve business growth targets in line with the Strategic Plan, including support with bid writing and partnerships.
- Coordinate the process of creating comprehensive programme and department level self-assessment and quality improvement planning and post-inspection action plans.
- Minimum Level 5 teaching learning and assessment qualification, such as Cert Ed, DTLLS or Diploma in Education and Training.
- Level 3 CAVA and Level 4 IQA or equivalent.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
- Level 2 IT Qualification.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Level 5 learning and development or leadership and management qualification.
- Proven experience in educational leadership roles, preferably in curriculum design, instructional development, or a quality assurance capacity.
- Proven experience in managing curriculum development teams, ensuring quality standards, and overseeing programme evaluation.
- Proven track record of successful curriculum development and implementation that aligns with industry demands and learning outcomes.
