**Job Title:** Technical Team Lead
**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Lead to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in planning, managing, and monitoring the engineering functions of our existing technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse team of engineers supporting a site consisting of offices, laboratories, and plant.
  • Participate in assigned long-term preventative maintenance programs and projects.
  • Create detailed processes and procedures for engineering staff to follow.
  • Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs.
  • Oversee the team's routine operations, including repairs and administrative duties.
  • Develop and maintain relations with Compliance/HSE Specialist, the Programme Manager, and the Client.
  • Supervise installation and initial start-up of engineering equipment.
  • Modify processes to enhance operation productivity.
  • Assign, train, develop, and supervise the work of engineering department personnel.
  • Evaluate additional work requests and ensure they are actioned in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of HNC/HND in Engineering or time served technical apprenticeship.
  • Experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a similar industry.
  • Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team.
  • Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track.
  • Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment.
  • Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience.
  • Health and Safety qualification (ideally IOSH MS).
