Job Summary:

St Helen's Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting teachers and other staff members in the classroom, preparing learning materials, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who require additional support, particularly in managing challenging behaviour. A proven ability to promote attention and concentration skills would be an advantage.

This position is linked to school funding, which may cease if the child leaves the setting. The successful candidate will undergo satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure Certificate checks.
