Job Overview

The role of Procurement Support Specialist is available in a dynamic and global manufacturer based in the UK. Reporting to the Senior Buyer, you will provide administrative support for purchasing, production, and stores departments. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring customer delivery requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase orders for stock and non-stock items
- Negotiate prices with suppliers for best value
- Maintain purchase price and supplier details on the system
- Review purchase order acknowledgements and resolve discrepancies
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve stock queries and maintain accurate records

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient typing and data processing skills
- Computer literacy, including Sage Accounts and Microsoft Office suite
